零食阿婆前天因新冠肺炎突然逝世了！接到这噩耗，令我感到伤心，也为她的离去而惋惜！

 

74岁的零食阿婆原名黄来妹，对芙蓉市民来说，是个熟悉的身影，如今她推著零食车在街上兜售的情景，只有留在我们的记忆里了！

 

刊登在今天中国报的照片是我在2019年12月23日拍摄的。我与她在一家饭店相遇，我获得她的同意拍了几张照片，过后我们还一起吃晚餐。黄大姐还很善谈，她原本在新加坡工作，退休后独居芙蓉政府组屋，风雨不改，沿街售卖零食维持生计。

The candies seller on a small cart commonly seen in Seremban town had passed away due to Pandemic Covid on 24^th July. This sad news was reported in China Press today which carried a photo taken by me in Dec 2019. 

 

I met her at a shop where I took that picture and had dinner with her.  She told me that she was working in Singapore and after retirement moved to stay alone in a flat in Seremban. She declined any help from welfare groups and insisted on selling candies and snacks for a living. 

 

May her soul rest in peace!
